girls will follow and if not this year then next. No way boys in ECNL just for the heck of it.

This tells me you are not ASA. If you are, then boys ASA and then impatient. Nobody should post private club emails here. Asking for that shows you are trolling

No do not listen to this poster. There is no loyalty.

Dear Arlington Soccer Travel Families:

We trust that you are well and staying safe. Over the next few weeks, we will continue to send regular updates including information about plans for when we can return to the field, the tryout and team formation process, and coaching assignments. In the meantime, we wanted to share some news about our DA program.

Arlington Soccer is excited to join the Girls Academy (GA). The GA has unified more than 50 of the 60 current Girls DA clubs to create a national platform which will uphold the defining standards of the DA while adding flexibility to enhance player development. Coach Nicci Wright will continue to lead the girls’ program as GA Director.

As mentioned before, we do not anticipate any changes to the travel team structure in the club. Arlington Soccer remains dedicated to providing the best environment for training, development, and competition for all players on all of our teams at all levels of league play.

Weak. You post you own clubs internal emails.

This sounds like the the GA basically is the same as DA. Maybe good that this gets out? People were making this league sound bad. Maybe this is a good thing. Finally hs soccer if you want t and better substituting rules. Am I missing something?

It seems that way, other than a few defecting clubs it’s mostly the same as last year.

A few defecting clubs, yes, but a few nice additions too. Beadling and Philadelphia Ukrainians in PA, for example.

High school play and schedule flexibility for HS games, relaxed sub rules, flexibility for conference games, non-league games, and tournaments

How will that work with high school with VA having a different season than the northern teams??

Ever heard of weeknight soccer? No competition on the weekends unless possible tournament play.

I think it will be good. Better than competing for a starter role with a new coach somewhere during prime recruiting years. If they really have 1 regional and 3 national events with college coaches showing up that’s great.

I'm not the poster. And I haven't previously posted an internal e-mail myself. But why would this be regarded as wrong? The club didn't request confidentiality - and this e-mail doesn't seem to contain anything that would be in the least sensitive - so I would think this is fine isn't it? If not, why not?

I don't see a problem with the PP sharing this information, particularly when the club publicly announced it on its website. Get off your high horse!

How many unique posters on the DCU soccer forum do you think there are? Based on the repetitive posts and arguments I am guessing about 10. Anyhow, good luck to Arlington and I hope the new league works out.
