But given their proximity to Loudoun and the fact that they left ECNL for DA, do they get accepted (again)? And if not and all the DA players leave FCV for Loudoun, I would imagine that there will be more than a couple of Loudoun parents who won't be too happy at the thought of DD losing "her spot" on the ECNL team. Grab your popcorn, this may be a show that you don't want to miss!

No

Why no? Why wouldn’t FCV get ECNL again? If they didn’t they will be ruined.

NOT RUMORS ANYMORE, WHAT THE HELL.

For young players looking to take their path into the pros, definitely MLS academies or get a European passport.

It’s the parents’ identity.

I wonder about the people that were driving to put their U12s into a starter pre-DA.

This is funny.

Try to find a new moniker to use to denote kids as super special elite so parents can walk around beating their chests.

Those poor, poor Arlington 2008 red team girl parents.

What happens to the DCU Academy teams? And they just were building facilities for the move to Loudoun.

I guess they need to go find new Club teams?

The other thread cites Several D1 college programs announcing they will be completely shutdown for good. Not just for the virus. No more ever.

I guess all these soccer dads banking on DA programs (which no longer exist Effective today) will now have to realize they’re kid likely won’t be playing college soccer either.

Academics, baby. F@ck the zoom soccer training. Time to study.

This is entertaining!! So exciting!

Wait. I'm having trouble loading these hyperlinks and looked on the USSF site. Did they make the announcement?

What Division 1 colleges are getting rid of
Soccer? On the DA stuff this is incredibly sad and stressful for kids at a time they are already stressed. Also stressful for ECNl players who may worry what this means. Why would anyone find this entertaining? Hopefully all these clubs will find an ECNL spot. I wonder also if the coaches for the DA programs are worried about employment.
