There is no chance the 05 will be playing with the 06 team. Zero chance. The only team that needs fixing is the 06 team.

What say you 05 parents? Is that the final straw?

Since 05s aren't allowed to play with 06s, that sounds like a plan everyone can get behind.

Who said that? They got a plan? Do tell.

Some earlier poster said that a few pages back. I figured they had insider information.

Watch a game, you’ll feel bad for the 05 teammates that are trying to showcase and mad at the HC and mom for making this a situation.

I’m sure the 05 parents have their opinions and that’s fine. I’m the no dog in this fight poster but I’m sensitive to this because I actually came upon these threads once and my kid’s situation was being discussed. My heart just fell to the floor. All these people you think are your friends week in and week out, and then they spout off anonymously on some message board saying terrible things about the kids. Its too pointed, people should speak in general terms.

The DA posts rosters, stats, etc for everyone to see and some parents post their kids life online for everyone to see. If exposure isn’t desired, time to retire the accounts.

I agree. These are kids. Anyway is there more info about if there will be DC practices or closer in now that there is a feeder club? We are interested if practices are closer and also will there be later ID sessions as our child is currently on an ECNL/DA team and cannot be going to ID sessions. I am not even sure about rules of calling to inquire. We have said zero to anyone about looking around but we are thinking.
If anyone wants to answer. TIA

You are always free to reach out to the coaches. If you can’t make a ID session you can attend a practice.

There are no rules regarding ECNL to DA.

DA to DA is different but no rule against YOU reaching out to the coaches.

My guess is practices will be split between Reston and Tysons in order to accommodate Stoddert and MD folks.

Clarification: there is no rule against YOU reaching out, but there is a rule against them making you any offer until the summer, even though FCV does.

Agree! You just can’t trust some of the crazies, most of us MU parents know or have a good idea who they are too. Haven’t got us fooled one bit

Yes and word gets around who is posting on here via the MU parents. Please use wise judgement

Yes, and with that threat, remember to always drink your Kool-Aid and tell everyone how everyone on all the teams is thrilled to play with kids 2+ years younger than them. This is what you and your child were hoping to experience. Don't forget. You will be told on if you don't tow the party line.

Exactly.

Sadly, some parents who experienced it in the past warned us and we didn’t listen.

MRM Rush 2006G team had a player playing up last year. No one made a big deal about it. Maybe because they were the top MD team?
