Last year, the agency referred 12,000 border crossers to emergency rooms for care, each one requiring an agent to wait with them at the hospital and ensure they were immediately returned to federal custody upon release. The rates of hospital referrals are increasing, the agency said, with about 145 agents per day currently acting as hospital escorts. Meanwhile, cocaine seizures for the current fiscal year have already exceeded the previous one, and methamphetamine seizures have also increased, according to the agency, a situation that also is demanding staff resources.


I find it unbelievable, to say the least, that the U.S. is supposed to pay for all of the medical attention these people need. Many of them arrive at the border extremely sick, and then our Border Patrol is blamed when they die in custody - as if we were responsible for them getting sick in the first place. Why isn't Mexico stopping these people and treating them rather than allowing them to continue to our border?

The numbers are staggering. Open Border Democrats seem to want every poor person in the world to have the option to come here.

We need a moderate Dem who will be tough on immigration. Create pathways. I don't have an issue with that, but NOT at the expense of people who are here legally and who are native-born citizens.

It's impossible. It looks good on paper, but in reality it's death to the US.
We already have anchor babies disaster.
We already have DACA who demand - yes, demand - c-ship for their illegal aliens parents because otherwise ''America will be creating second class citizens''. Screw them, screw all law breakers.

If we create pathways, the US will have to start shooting border jumpers using machine guns. At least third of C and S America will be by the border in no time and we will become banana republic that we slowly turning in to thanks to open borders and lame duck administrations for decades.

No pathways - Trump was smart when he turned down 25 B in exchange for DACA. We would have tens of thousands of kids thrown over the fence before we even start building the wall.
