+1. We really need some precipitation!

People who don't get snow are getting rain anyway. Just as wet, a lot less disruptive.

Have you ever been in a Nor'Easter rain storm?

I suggest you read about them.

WAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! I wanted a snow day. It looks like rain from the predicted temps in the local area.

Kids are going to be so bummed. I telework anyways---but really wanted them to have a fun snow day once this winter.

Why would you be disappointed??

Bc I like snow? And wanted our one storm of the yr to be a foot or more?

That's right, crazy woman. Root for disruption and danger for all!

Oh good grief. Move somewhere with less weather. Although I'm sure you'd still find something to complain about!

I don't get what some of you are talking about. 6-12 is still on that map and that's the Hedgers at CWG. The only people getting rain are Dover and la plata.

My weather apps on my iphone for temperatures are always spot-on. It's not even getting below freezing tonight according to them. 35 degrees is the absolute coldest it is showing for just 1 hour---the rest of the night it shows 36-37 degrees---yet shows snowflakes. I'm no scientist (wait--yes I am)--but you don't get accumulating snow with above freezing air temps and warm ground surface.

I hope I am wrong.

Get a better app. Or put more weight in the high/low forecast, which on my app is more accurate than the hourly predictions.

National Weather Service says 2" - 6" for McLean.

Not the big storm I was hoping for.
