| This M&D guy must get paid the big bucks. |
|
This thread is just comical. Especially when you consider the ages of the players being discussed. I'm not "M&D guy" but pushed back on at least one of these posters because a lot of this is just not logical and seems like scare tactics.
There are more than enough clubs in this area for your player to find the right fit for the level SHE wants to play. If you hate your experience at one club, you're lucky because you have plenty of other options. And if you're not on a team in the first place (looking at you HoCo parents bashing M&D and Heros) then simply don't try and join. |
I assume that you are talking about me, but I am unfortunately not getting paid. In fact, I have zero to do with the program, but I am not a delusional moron like many here. My youngest is with BLC, but I have two older kids that have made it to and through HS, and I have heard all of the “m&d” is over nonsense before. Each time I heard that, the teams suddenly got better through recruiting and player development, and the beat goes on. But cool, stay with HOCO or CheckHers, maybe your DD’s team will be the first one in program history to have a great list of recruiting successes to crow about. |
| Do better youth lax parents! There are enough clubs and colleges to go around. DO BETTER! Can we put a stop to this? |
That M&D has the same number of players as Capital on these teams is crazy. Hero’s with just 1 is wild. |
|
d1 commits, National championships? wtf are ya'll talking about?
Does your daughter enjoy lacrosse and like playing on her team? Great! You won! |
I think what you're basically showing us with these numbers is that more and more players on these national championship teams do not come from this area. That's the trend with these few data points. |
Oh bless your heart. No one said Hoco families wanted to play for Hero's. You seem to be alittle hostile about this. Did they not want you and thats why your jumping to conclusions ? Considering the values that Hero's upholds I doubt they would want all that toxicity on their sidelines. |
| Someone had said the talent is split because of the HOCO Coaches. I know, it’s so many messages to read through. |
|
That is true. Better players have gone elsewhere to not play for the HOCO coaches.
Just like HS players have gone to private schools to not play for the HOCO 34 coach. |
|
Funny, better players.
Some definitely can’t handle the 2034 Coaches honest and high intensity style of coaching. Some admire it. And some are coming to Century from out of district just for her coaching. All of this is pure jealousy. Just so sad. She is a phenomenal, caring, and a coach who works 24/7 for her players. Awful what people are saying when protected by an anonymous keyboard. |
|
Who ever posted this is either delusional or Becky’s mom!
She has poisoned the well in club and HS. Look at the IAMM kids who left to not play for her. |
| People are just mean. |
The delusion is real. Omg. |
Tell me you have no clue about club lacrosse without telling me you have no clue about club lacrosse. For the people in the back, M&D not having strong teams at the younger ages is business as usual. The only people who care about strong teams of 8-11 year olds are the parents of said children. Us! Oh, and Hoco. Though you sound more like a bitter M&D cast-off-to-be, so I’m putting my money there. |
