No, it's not. What it is doing is demonstrating how this shooting is Dump's fault. His horrific and cruel immigration policy left Afghan patriots who risked their lives to support use abandoned and vulnerable to the Taliban. His ridiculous, wasteful authoritarian theater tha is spending $200 million+ to have Guard members away from their families and careers to stand around at Metro stations performing authoritarian theater left these Guard members as sitting ducks.

Never forget---this shooting is Donald Trump's fault.

The shooting is the fault of the shooter. That’s how it works.

The DC Guardsmen shooting isn’t adding up. Shooter Rahmanullah Lakanwal—CIA-backed Kandahar Strike Force vet (per leaked ID and Ratcliffe in a Fox News Interview confirmed Lakanwal’s “ties to the CIA as part of a partner force in Kandahar” based on declassified/intel briefings)—ambushed 2 unarmed Guardsmen at 2:15pm EST yesterday, yelling “Allahu Akbar”. Critical but alive. But Google Trends? His name spiked in DC at 2:24AM (84 interest), 3:28AM (100), 8AM (22)—HOURS BEFORE shots fired. Foreknowledge? We need to subpoena the IPs!

These two Guard members wouldn't be lying in hospital beds in critical condition if Dump wasn't using them as part of his worthless authoritarian theater. Sorry you don't have two brain cells to rub together.

The guy is an Intel operative starting as a child (14 years old). He has a wife and kids, they get pulled out of Afghanistan in 2021 when Taliban is taking over. Clearly they are high priority, securing multiple seats on evacuation planes. Applies for asylum, gets resettled in a far-ass corner of Washington. Gets asylum approved by Trump in April 2025. Then in September 2025, Trump administration cancels asylum for Afghans who helped the U.S., so he and family (with 5 kids) are looking at being handed over to the Taliban.

In the eyes of a desperate man, Traveling to DC and shooting two soldiers is a good way to keep your family in the country.

He was re-vetted and approved for asylum by Trump administration earlier this year.

I work in this space. The thing nobody really talks about is that vetting only gets you so far. It's impossible to correctly predict someone's future behavior 100% of the time.

More blood on his hands. Could be that he* planned it that way, seems that he pretty quickly got 500 more troops.

*or whoever is in charge of Trump

You sound unhinged. I was in Europe this summer and military police are in a lot of capital cities, cities that don’t have an extremely high murder rate that weren’t at one time referred to as the murder capital of the world.

I would love for all you “Trump is a monster for bringing the murder rate down in DC and curbing Black deaths” nut jobs to take a stroll around Riverside Terrace or Carver Langston on a weekend night after 11 pm and then report back with your findings. You people hide in your redlined suburban enclave and post crap like this because you have the privilege of virtue signaling and having these luxury beliefs. You would turn into right wingers in two seconds if you ever had to live or work in one of those neighborhoods.

Does this mean that we can FINALLY stop hearing the whining about liberals inciting violence and sedition by simply pointing out reality and truth? About the poor ICE agents getting their feelings hurt while they kidnap and harass people?

Thank god.

However, this is still 100% trumps fault. These soldiers families should call him out. Other veterans already are.

Dumbass, I have lived in several major metropolitan areas in the downtown areas, including the Southside of Chicago near the U. You are as dumb as every other maga rube that bought into this.

I never voted for MAGA - ever - and you living next to a bad neighborhood in Chicago when you went to an elite college with private security guards is not a flex. You were a privileged student passing by before going on to a nice, privileged life.

And Southside Chicago is nothing compared to River Terrace or Carver Langston at any time, but especially in the 80s and 90s.

ICE Agents kidnapped 3 million people when Obama was president? Were you in the streets protesting then? Thought so.

And the response of people to the shooting of two NG members by an Afghan terrorist is :checks notes: that there should be less NG members and federal forces in DC? Really? DC is the capital of the country and is FAR more dangerous than any European or Asian capital city, many of which have soldiers patrolling. And your recommendation is that we should have less federal security after a terrorist attack? Really?!!!

Psst - this shooter was explicitly drawn to DC to target NG soldiers three blocks from the White House. It was done on purpose to send a message to President Trump and the U.S. military. He traveled 2500+ miles. I wonder why?
