In the video clip Kirk is talk about gang violence right before he's shot.

To be clear, he was asked about mass shootings, but because he doesn’t wanna talk about it he diverted and started talking about gang violence.

The question he was answering when he got shot is… do you know how many mass shootings there have been in the United States over the last 10 years? He says counting or not counting gang violence and then gets shot in the neck.

So what is Chaffetz trying to stir up with his lie?

The graphic close-up video I saw appears to show the dude's t-shirt moving up before something hits him in the neck. If he survives, I call BS on this. It looks like a stunt shot.

Unless someone shot him while sitting beneath him, that makes zero sense.

Certainly wrong in every level not to condemn this. Violence is not right. In any shape or form directed against someone who is a bystander.

However I do wonder how this impacts him and his kind in the context of gun violence.

I think what's happened is horrible but I do find the victim an interesting one given his public opinions on the subject matter that affected him..
