I think not. Though some may have suspected. I hope they appoint his AP, Greg Miller, who would be a great successor. He’s lovely and extremely hard-working and responsive. |
| Why did Felder say the new Brooke Grove principal was looking forward to serving the “Share Word” cluster? |
I'm the pee pee and that is actually a really helpful answer. Some of the things that I didn't love about her would actually be fine in a middle school or high school principal. Still, this will be their 4th principal in 6 years. |
| Omg. Voice to text fail but I kind of love it |
This is my hope, also. I had a feeling when Mr. Miller did his internship earlier this year. |
| Hopefully he wants it, as I suspect he can choose where he wants to go. He’s a star. Whitman parents, lobby for him and let him know how much you’d like him to apply! |
She’s a good one. We really liked her when she was the assistant principal at Laytonsville. |
| I will miss Stacey rogovoy from CGES dearly |
She was absolutely horrible at Burnt Mills when she was in Staff Dev there. Screamed at kids, was even physical at times, just not a steady personality. Too “Jersey girl” for me. |
Was it her accent? |
I don’t hear her as having any accent. She mispronounced Sherwood and also misintroduced Edwards as someone else’s all together. |
| I know teacher positions are being filled internally given the impending RIF. I hope that principals and the super and other admin positions can still apply from the outside though. We need new leadership. |
Two of the principals appointed yesterday were from outside MCPS. |
She has a NY accent. |
| Does the principal of SCES need to speak French? If so, that would seem to greatly limit the candidates. Agree with some PPs that the school desperately needs a strong leader. Nesmith was not it. |
