Because the application is too hard and you don’t want to shadow? |
Probably because when our DD shadowed it came across as a fairly joyless school, especially when compared to the other places she visited. That may be fine for legacies but there are many other alternatives out there with equivalent academics, strong lacrosse, and a happier environment. |
I’ll bet the coaches at SR, PVI, HC, Potomac etc know who all the good players are - and exactly where they are applying to HS. |
Who would tell them where my DD, for example, is applying? We don't even tell our friends because everyone is playing close to the vest. |
Some coaches have already reached out to certain girls. That is how. |
Darn, I wish I had not made it so difficult for people to "reach out" to my minor child. |

Curious why this poster would include PVI and omit GC in this list since GC is ranked above all of these programs. |
And you think girls and their parents told the coaches everywhere they are applying? That is incredibly nieve. |
Many of the top 28s are public school kids as well. |
Are you suggesting that parents of kids whose daughters have been contacted by HS coaches as part of a recruiting process are putting their “minor” children in harms way? What a dumba$$. I hope you tell those college recruiters to eff off when they go to recruit your “minor” child when she is a HS student. Good grief. |
This is a Visi thread. It is not a huge leap in logic for the coaches of other local Catholic HS’s to assume these girls are applying to one or more of the other local Catholic HS’s. Quite “nieve” of you not to realize that. |
Probably bc this is a thread about Visitation and you can on one hand the number of girls applying to both Visitation and GC. Just a guess and no knock on GC which I agree is a great lax program. |
Why are people so guarded? Who cares? It’s not a state secret it’s high school. |
