| So true. Academics first, just like it should be when recruiting for college lacrosse, but the overall experience is so important and being a "student athlete" in a situation where the athlete part is lacking in leadership, enthusiasm, team bonding and other things led by a good coach really impacts the overall experience. Just ask the players from BI after Rick left. |
| Does anyone have any insights on what the incoming class looks like w respect to lacrosse talent? Not looking for names just if there are talented players who are applying in 2028? |
Definitely. I know of several that attended open house, shadow day, etc. Not 100% sure they will be applying, but chances are probably good that Visi legacies will be submitting. |
| 27 class wasn’t very strong and I’ve heard the 28’s are all looking at multiple schools. |
| If lacrosse is important to you, there are better high school options. Especially considering the current coaching void. |
Visi girls know better than to pick a high school based on lacrosse. |
Are these good lacrosse players? |
Yes, several “talented” players. |
Do they pick a school based on rankings? Visi is rated as the 38th private school in the DMV - just behind O’Connell. |
Visi girls laugh at people like you. |
| Another parent of a ‘28 here who is passing on applying to Visi for reasons well put above. |
No one good is going to Visi, stop the madness. |
'28 parent who is applying because I understand optionality better than some others. |
Few people even know who all the good players are, let alone where they may be applying to high school. |
| All falls in the lap of the AD at Visi. Been a problem for decades. |
