The Qanon Shaman was at the front of the group breaking in, which was (mostly-indisputably violent). If someone acts violently and then later acts peacefully, their defense attorney might think that's important evidence but no one else would. |
Trespassing and standing atop the Speaker's dais dressed outlandishly, howling and chanting is "respectful behavior?"
As for whether he was or wasn't "escorted" or "had police unlock doors for him" is a separate matter, and as it turns out, several Capitol Police officers were investigated including some who were punished and terminated for "conduct unbecoming." Unlocking doors for unauthorized trespassers should certainly qualify for disciplinary action and termination. |
Tucker doesn’t have to say a word. The video alone of the Shaman walking through the Capitol with police is all that’s needed. |
I can be peaceful 99% of the time, but if I'm violent and destructive 1% of the time, then I will have to pay consequences for it. |
And that’s fine. How do you feel about the 2020 riots, as well as the damage done after Trump won? |
So was John Sullivan |
There is no evidence of the Shaman himself being violent or destructive. Even Nancy Pelosi’s daughter said same. |
He was charged too. |
People who destroy property not their own or people who maim and kill other people should be prosecuted. And people who try to overthrow an election should be prosecuted. It’s simple. If you are asserting because person A didn’t get charged for something in one jurisdiction Person B should get away with it in another, that’s not a logical - or legal- conclusion. |
What was he charged with and what did he plead guilty to? |
What was he charged with? |
What did he get four years for? That’s your answer. He has a new lawyer and exculpatory evidence was withheld. People are convinced to plead guilty every day. The real question is, would he have done so if this evidence was in the hands of the defense. Remember too, he is a diagnosed schizophrenic. You can have all the feels you want, but withholding evidence by prosecution is not something you want to see in America. |
What a cruddy lawyer he has. Why don’t all you Shaman apologists pool your money together to get him a better one? |
Those circulating this footage are trying to peddle a false narrative that all of the charges were false and trumped up but it ignores the successful prosecutions that have already moved forward and the ones that continue to move forward on the Oathkeepers, Proud Boys et cetera. They were ANYTHING BUT "peaceful tourists" and that was already proven in court and already led to convictions. There ALREADY IS ENOUGH video to prove that. You can't somehow "counter prove" the existing video with more video. Suspect A seen assaulting an officer in 6 video clips doesn't somehow magically go away by video clip number 7 showing him walking down a hallway. |
So donate to his cause. He is one out of thousands who rioted. Also weird you won’t say what the charges against him were. |
