- the leader of a divisive lobbying group in Arlington who has no other relevant leadership experience
- a PTA president who a lot of people didn't seem to like
- a young upstart with political ambitions and no real ties to APS

LOL. This isn't bad. The first 2 have insights relevant to how APS runs, and they can see deficiencies from the parent perspective. We had some terrible SB members before current and most recent versions of the COVID and post-COVID SB. Whatever faults the recent/current SB members have, it's a major improvement over where things were 5+ years ago. Based on what I've seen, the first 2 candidates continue that trend.

Knowing neither of the women, they each have 3 children in APS, and families that call Arlington their home.

If you want someone who isn't beholden to anyone, then it looks like Erin is the only one. Miranda is beholden to her supporters in APE, some of whom are not even Dems. Angelo is beholden to the Dems.

So are these national democrats or local Arlington democrats who are pushing him into running for something that doesn't mean anything to him personally?? I would really like to know.

The whole thing is textbook Marjorie Taylor Greene, who had never lived in that small county in Georgia, nor had any ties there (nor nearby), but she knew she could win there, and had help. She was never interested in that county or anyone it it, but it worked so well for her personal gain.
