+1 I didn’t vote for SW but she’s a better option than APE. She has done a lot of literacy advocacy. |
Did he actually release it? |
100 Didn't vote for Symone before but I would now. She has actually done something productive for students. As compared to Miranda. Does anyone know if she would actually run? I don't know her personally. |
No clue. It was there yesterday. |
And whatever goodwill she "ruined" is probably just the hardcore APE conservative Miranda supporters anyways. I'm a real Dem and she didn't alienate me. |
I looked yesterday when I saw the post on here but couldn't find it. |
At least APE focuses on a variety of issues. |
Ugh. What a stomach-turner. That only makes me want to vote for him even less than before - and I had no inclination to vote for him in the first place. Something's just off with that guy. |
I think the only goodwill she possibly ruined is that of the minority of AEM/DCUM APS parents who actively choose to not see anything even potentially good in her merely because she was a leader in APE and couldn't control the boorish behavior of the a-holes in it who have apparently moved on to other things. APS parents are not the determining factor in ACDC votes. |
that's interesting. It makes sense- It takes more money than you would think to run an 'endorsement' campaign for school board. I can't imagine he was able to do much fundraising at all. It's weird that he posted it, and then took it down. It should mean that the 'endorsement' vote is cancelled b/c they have only one candidate- Miranda. |
Yep. The AEM loudmouths seem to think they wield more power than they do. They’re definitively loud (and probably 74 pages of this thread) but they’re background noise to most parents in APS |
We were talking about Symone. Defensive much? |
So now the Miranda supporters are back to bashing parents again. Classy. |
Look out teachers. APE is going to feel emboldened if MT wins. |
Ok, now I’m curious. What would it take to jump in this race now? Does anyone know? |
