| Holton and Bullis were overrated while Saints underrated—12 game winning streak with big one against Visi tomorrow. |
True. |
D1 commits doesn’t ensure a winning team. Chemistry, skill and experience =winning team. The Saints have surprised everyone. |
| will be interested to see the match up between Visi and saints tomorrow. heard Visi has one of its captains out for injury... should be interesting to see how younger players step up |
| It will come down to a game of coaching most likely |
I think we all know who won this then |
Actually, the real leader on the Potomac team is a junior...just felt that should be clarified. The strongest defenders are seniors. Yes, the freshmen are good, but couldn't do it without those three. |
| Sounds like team dissension at Potomac |
Yup sounds like some sour parents.
|
| There has been lots of hype about this team. Honestly, they have played a pretty weak schedule. Loaded up on the lower ISL division teams and a bunch others who no one has heard of from Virginia When they have played a team with a winning record (Saints, SR, PVI), it has been one-sided affairs. Not sure if they have beat many teams with winning records. |
Not that bad for a team with only freshmen. |
| Doesn't matter if you are heavy upper class or lower class team. The operative word is 'team'. Saints, Visi and SR had very senior heavy teams last year and both are doing well now that they have more time together for the lower class to get experience and the team chemistry to work itself out. Potomac might be good sometime in the future, but for now, the ISL lax championship is gonna be a toss-up between Saints, Visi and SR as it has for the past few decades. |
14-8 Visi |
| Visi 14-8 and held the ball for the last 10 minutes with a classless goal at the end. Saints had an off day and are still predicted to win ISL after SR win. |
Wasn't Visi also down 4-1 or 5-1 to start? |
