+1 So boring. You can find the scores on the ISL website, but this keeps it so interesting.

STJ seems to always do really well in WCAC but then craps out when playing ISL or other non-league schools. Seems a bit psychological.

Have they improved with the new (2+yrs) coach? Any new emphasis on developing and recruiting for the girls team as with the boys team?

Big win for Saints in what was considered a down year for them. They are still the team to beat in the DMV.

GC was overhyped for sure. The Saints dismantled their zone defense.

SJC coach appears to have the girls team headed in the right direction. They beat BI for the first time ever this season and have flipped the script with wins over HC and AHC - teams they used to regularly lose to.

They have solid midfielders who are all jrs and sophomores.

WCAC playoffs start next week. GC will be the #1 seed but believe there is a 3-way tie for #2

And Holton lost to Bullis- and Bullis hasn’t won a game against a good team this year. Holton should have been better with their three outstanding upperclassmen and a strong goalie. Didn’t live up to potential. Bullis was bigger disaster unable to win with its 5-6 top D1 recruits (Navy, Brown, UMD, Vandy, USC…). Hard to understand what happened there. Potomac was interesting this spring with no serious (top club) upperclassmen playing for them - basically a freshman-led team. And they did okay. Managed to beat Holton, Bullis and HC but demolished by Saints, SR and PVI. They are one to watch in future if they can get ‘26 and ‘27 players.
