If both sides are upset with the mainstream media, then that media is doing its job correctly.

If the GOP’s upset is simply working the refs because they want 100% positive coverage and don’t want the truth reported and the Democrats are being both sided with literal fascists, no, the media isn’t doing its job correctly.

The media consistently oversampling Republicans and interviewing Republicans and then labeling those people as Democrats is not “doing its job correctly”. Try giving this thread an actual read.

It isn’t the media’s job to make anyone happy. DIt should be reporting objectively. It absolutely should be upsetting both sides. You sound upset that it isn’t labeling people according to your definitions. You sound like someone who labels people supporting Dems financially and electorally at the polls as GOPers/Trumpers?

It’s curious then that all their reporting is slanted pro-GOP in order to make the shrieking harpies of the GOP happy. It’s not upsetting both sides. It’s GOP friendly coverage that obscures the truth about how bat crap crazy the GOP is and obscuring the threat the GOP poses to the existence of the USA.

Seriously, read the thread.

Yes, yes, yes. CBS, NYT, ABC, NBC are all GOP shills. Next you’re going to tell me Rachel Maddow is a covert Trump operative.

Yet you won’t read the thread. You’re scandalized by the suggestion that the corporate owned media is GOP friendly but you won’t look at the dozens of examples backing that up.

9:21 here.

For example. This example was someone tweeting in their capacity as an NBC reporter, tweeting right wing propaganda but presenting it as something even handed. You’re on this page, so you care about politics at least a little bit. What about the people who see that conservative poll held up as a non partisan example, do you think they’ll stop and examine the source or will the halo of NBC being “mainstream” be enough for them to believe it was a non partisan source?

I read the whole thread. You’re suggesting every report on every mainstream outlet every day is 100% GOP. Not buying it.

Interesting phrase to use in lockstep.

The heinous but somehow barely worse stuff than usual that went up on the “hacked” New York Post this morning - posted by an employee.

More than a few wags on twitter noted that the post by a rogue employee was only degrees worse than what they usually post.

No I’m not suggesting that. I’m saying with my whole chest that the media is pro-right wing. Look at that last tweet posted and how the outlet that published the article framed it. Three Democratic leaning races and one toss up and it’s somehow bad for the Democrats? Even in the weird little example they created it’s not right, so why the fervent need to always slag the Dems?

Just reminders that if your voting blue, get to the polls. If you’re voting red and see these, doesn’t make you want to rush out and vote.

Which outlets do you consider left-wing?

This is no left wing media in this country. Lots of corporate outlets like MSNBC. Those will push “moderate” democrats but nit really left wing or progressives.

NPR is definitely left wing.
