Do you have any recipe to share of a super moist chocolate cake? Not overly sweet but again... MOIST!

Thanks!

I use the just the cake recipe from this one. I make it plain or with a little ganache on top but its super super moist and great as cupcakes too.

this cake is amazing - very rich & moist:

I do a different frosting - my mom's old recipe

Hey OP and knowledgeable posters…when OP means "moist" does s/he (although I suspect "she" due to the word "crave") mean that kind of chewy stuff…like Betty Crocker SuperMoist Devil's Food cake? LOVE THAT

However, I don't like cakes that are commonly served in restaurants that sort of feel like solid, or whipped, butter with cocoa in them. That's not what "moist" means, right?

(I'm just trying to figure out if I should start drooling at along with OP)

I just made this too (also different frosting) and it was very good.

I'm guessing that a "solid" cake isn't very moist?

Moist = not dry

Pioneer Woman (Ree Drummond) 's chocolate sheet cake with icing. It is divine.

I've had bad luck with sheet cakes - sooooooooo painfully dry!

Op here and I am pregnant too! I am making the first one though (without the peanut butter). Thanks everyone!

I probably will try the food network in the near future as well and the pioneer woman sheet cake

My mom used to make an incredibly moist, delicious chocolate beetroot cake. Probably like this:

I had a baby last Thursday. Came home Saturday and my next door neighbor had dropped off a chocolate bundt cake. I don't know WHAT she did to this cake but I had a piece this morning and it is still beyond moist. I need to ask her her recipe. It's freaking delicious.
