Yep. He would be sitting on the Court when it opens this week if he had held his shit together. The hearing was meant to make the little lady feel heard. That’s all. But he came out swinging and out of controllp and lied. It’s never the crime— it’s the coveru.

And PPs are right. He was an appellate judge, not a trial judge. But if a defendant in any federal courtroom had talked back to a Judge who directed them to answer a question the way he did with Kloubacher, their ass would have been held in contempt and cooling it in jail. If we can expect the local drug dealer to answer questions without insulting the Judge, we can expect it of a *YALE EDUCATED* jurist.

Also, I think he was drinking before the hearing.

I think you were drinking before you posted your message.

I didn't think he'd make it this far. So I don't know. Maybe he'll even be confirmed.

What man has 65 women on call to vouch for him? To be sure, the number is probably dwindling. Do they like beer?

Seated by Friday. This FBI investigation is just to give cover to the holdouts to vote him in.

No one can confirm another's state of mind. They can only confirm that he was drunk, which Kavanaugh already stated.

They can confirm that Kavanaugh sometimes got drunk enough that he forgot what he did while drinking.

As opposed to bragging that he did? See the problem here? "Dude I was SO DRUNK last night I LITERALLY don't remember that!"

In that case he’s either a blackout drunk OR a liar. Or both.

Several former classmates have said this. Also, Judge's book talks about black outs.

I think Flake is going to be pissed off when the Dems start calling for a longer investigation that the one-week deal they were able to strong arm him into. He'll feel duped, rightfully so, and will vote yes - which is what he said he was going to do before the Dems got to him.

Watch ... the next twist will be that he can be placed at the party but claims he must have blacked out. Paging Judge Barrett....

@KMCRadio

BREAKING: Multiple sources now telling me 3 additional investigations are about to open:

1. @FBI - felony lying to Congress by accusers making false claims.
2. Congress - @SenFeinstein’s handling of Ford letter.
3. DC Bar - into Ford’s attorneys malpractice.

Judge's testimony will sink Kavanaugh. They all knew it would.

If anyone calls for additional time, it will be Christopher Wray. I think it is more likely that the investigation will yield enough information to not only scuttle this, but provide enough fodder to impeach Kavanaugh in the future for his lying under oath to the Senate.

Murkowski’s still probabaly a no. I think Collins is a yes, but still the half-assed “investigation” matters. It could change things. Also attitudes from the testimony may start to harden. It’s still too soon to know for sure where this is all going.

Sure they can. They can confirm partying with Kav and having him say the next day he didn’t remember doing or saying certain things. I have never been a heavy drinker, and now can’t drink at all without getting migraines. But I remember saying to a friend once in college that I have no memory of what happened after a certain time or how I got back to my dorm. And being told I had another drink hung out for an hour and walked myself back. Also waking up to a pile of red Koop aid puke on the floor. That person could testify that I blackedout. Because I told them I had.

Judge or Squi hold the trump card.
