Yeah, that was a nasty move on the part of the US. I know it's allowed in wartime, but war was not officially declared. Also, the ship was in extraterritorial waters but in a zone legally exploited by Sri Lanka - so a heads-up to the Sri Lankan navy would have been protocol.

All in all, this is all very shady and not stand-up honorable behavior.

DP. There has been no info since the first day about US casualties and KIA. Given the daily destruction we are witnessing, it’s unlikely the number is zero. Given the propensity of the Trump administration to lie and obfuscate, it’s even more suspicious that no reports on US losses are coming out.

Odds are that we are not getting the full story.

A thousand US soldiers injured and dead is not something that can be hidden.

The article stated that it is anticipation of the surge of injuries. They are already treating many and said that they were going back to their primary objective. The primary objective is to the soldier injured in the line of duty overseas. Preparing for a surge in injuries is an indication that the medical staff in Germany has information not yet released to the American public.
