I just found a receipt

For $200 to "blue Sky Spa" in silver spring. No website. A phone number when I google. I just called, a woman answered, claimed she provides "massages" for $85 an hour.

He is paying for sex right?

We have a one yr old. Have been together seven years, married three. I feel blind sighted. Sick to my stomach. Waiting for him to get back from "kickboxing class" but everything now feels like a lie.

Do prostitutes give receipts? Maybe it really is just a massage???

This. Maybe it really is just a massage.

Ok. Maybe I'm over reacting. But why so much?? And why no website. I'm weaning and hormonal and for some reason just assuming the worst. But feel bad about this.

I used to live in an area with a lot of nail salons and spas and a largely Asian demographic. I'd say 50% of the salons/nail spas had websites. Maybe that has something to do with it.

And usually there are different levels of massages. The most basic one might be $85 an hour. Perhaps he got a deeper massage, a hot stone treatment, a facial, etc etc etc. Please be careful. I was also hormonal when weaning but accusing your husband of cheating and paying for sex on something like this can cause some problems in your marriage.

Hopefully just hormones on your part. But if you are so quick to jump to conclusions, why? Are there other signs? Just ask him in a TOTALLY non-accusatory way when he gets home. Maybe even joke and ask if it's a much needed gift for you.

As someone who had pretty bad hormones after DS was born and when I weaned DS, it really annoys me when women try to justify their overreactions by saying it is their hormones. Still not an excuse to accuse your husband of paying for sex and assume he's lying about a kickboxing class.

I vote gift card, although from the first post I suspected OP was the owner of said spa and was looking to drum up (ahem) business. But OP sounds stressed and frazzled, so I really hope it is a gift card.

Log in to http://www.spahunters.com/spa/2689/Blue-Sky-Spa?rtn=%2Fspas%2FMaryland%2F

and read the reviews. The pop ups when you go even to the spa hunter website are not encouraging. Massages, yes. Happy endings, probably. Sorry.

But check it out and talk to him.

Wow, this is a first. Sister, 2 hours of massage plus tips is about $200. Please, no one is gonna do your husband for $200 and gives him a receipt.

Is it a credit card receipt?

I just did a quick search on the business and it's listed on a lot of business and yellow pages types of websites.

I googled the street address on crimereports and there are no recent reports of criminal activity.

I googled the address' property tax records, and the owner is the owner of the business (it's a house).

And I googled a case search of the owner. No real criminal activity.

All public info. So it seems to be a legitimate business does your husband ever get massages? Or is that completely weird for him?
