Really? Because he showed up for Harry. And I can look at this photo and see exactly why one Prince succeeded in the Caribbean and the other didn't. Harry is joyful, he's decked out head-to-toe in the country's colors, he even has Jamaica blazoned on his chest, he is having fun with one of Jamiaca's greatest legends (he did the same in the Barbados with back-to-back appearances with Rihanna who was recently awarded the title of National Hero), and he came with humbleness - not requesting or accepting a colonial military parade.

I mean...its about building a bond. Instead of showing up in $6,000 dresses - would it have killed Kate to appear with a group of Jamaica's female Olympic legends? That's never been done before. Would have stood out - attending in workout gear (Kate's got some guns on her! I know she has a killer routine) - discuss motherhood, early childhood development what have you, have a fun chat about a healthy routine while making smoothies, and discuss being a woman in a difficult non-academic field.

These three women who won gold, silver, and bronze in the Tokyo Olympics less than 9 months ago would have been perfect. They deliberately went for a tour of the past (with hilariously bad results) instead of focusing on a modern, thriving Jamaica.

And also, yes, they're genetically dumb. Diana, the "people's princess" connected with people in a way that seemed genuine, and it was remarkable but also a low bar to clear. Kate and William cannot even approach that low bar. It's honestly pathetic. Not only do they make these blunders because they are dumb and charmless people, but they can't HIRE people to do decent PR?! That I don't get.

My take - the Cambridges were rushing through their 'obligations'. He went to UAE. She went to Denmark. Each for a day. Then the 'big' 8-day tour which was supposed to be 12 but got cut in half. To say they are actually doing work.

They'll do Phillip's memorial the day after tomorrow and then the new royal yacht is being announced. Along with the 4th Cambridge house ahead of George transitioning to the new school in the fall as he turns 8.

This tour was a checkmark, it was supposed to be an easy triumph so they can justify the millions in expenses coming up. But it didn't turn out that way. Mainly because they're lazy fools who couldn't do any cultural, political, or background research.

Bet they still get that new house though.
