If you are so bent on the coach's name and assignment it would make more sense to find a coach you want and go to that club instead of harping on the fact that they haven't hired a coach for the 2nd or 3rd team. What if they said, Jane Doe is now the coach and has played D1 and won a state championship. Does that mean you kid will become messi under her coaching?

It's absolutely reasonable to want transparency about my child's coach, just as we value knowing who my child's teacher is at school. I'm not expecting my child to become a genius just because their teacher graduated from Harvard or Yale University, but I do expect their teacher to be qualified. I also believe my child will grow socially and academically when their teacher has a strong reputation or positive feedback from other parents. The same principle applies to a soccer coach. So, do you still think I'm asking for too much?

Seriously! Any decent-mediocre local coach has already been hired by another club for next year.
No wonder they have so many parent coaches.

Agree, you are paying $3000 for a product. The product is the professional coaching. Who pays without knowing what they are getting.

U12 boys have their first tryout tomorrow. They have 5 teams this year and now only one coach -with very mixed reviews--hired for next year. Who will evaluate the players and select the teams?

Looking at the website lead coaches info, they’ve changed the lead coach for rising U11 boys (2015) from KL to CH. KL was listed on the social media post a few weeks ago.

With this much complaining on this thread why don’t you all just go to another club? You’re not happy with the product then get it somewhere else. It isn’t that hard.

Interesting. I wonder if KL is leaving. He’s been the coach for the U12 boys second team for a while. If Valor doesn’t even have second team coaches figured out I can see why they don’t want to publish a full coaching list.

I think some people don't want to go from a second team at Valor to a fourth team somewhere else... or some similar perceived downgrade. Or they are worried about timing of tryouts not matching up. If Valor wants a decision from them before other tryouts have finished or even started, they don't want to say no to Valor without having something else lined up. I feel for people in that situation.

Its a discussion board. People are discussing. That is literally the point.
