Kristin went to Loyola Marymount for a few days and then dropped out after a few day’s (she once said that it was overwhelming being recognized by everyone on campus).

She does have great taste in men though.

So I just read more details on yesterday’s agreement. Jay released the funds once she agreed to a custody schedule of 1 week on 1 week off. I really don’t have bad feelings on Kristin (I generally think Jay is a nasty POS), but she was being terrible with the custody issue. Her own words for the last three years is he is Mr Mom. So what a complete piece of crap to try and go for full custody.

Also I read “She also asked for an equal division of their assets and liabilities — including those accumulated during their marriage by Jay through the NFL”. I cannot believe that is in their pre-nup. No way he agreed to split half his earnings during the last 7 years. That’s the whole point of a pre-nup.

This seems insane given the size of the house they share. Why can't they just move in separate bedrooms for at least a while. It does seem like a bad move in this economy to purchase ANOTHER home. Is no one explaining the Kristen that her business might not survive this?

Can't they just get internet? The house that is for sale is actually closer in to Nashville and less rural than the house she lives in now. Why would she think buying a new house would be easier than having internet installed.

Because her lawyer is smarter than that. The house you’re discussing has been on the market for 2+ years and is way overpriced for the area. They are going to have to take a significant loss to unload that. Why would Kristen accept 100% of that loss instead of 50% of it? If she gets out now to a new house, then there’s no argument that she and the kids are already placed in an existing house and should accept that has part of her settlement.

But it wouldn't be she and her kids. It would be just her since their arrangement is to take one week turns in their current home. The kids are staying put in their shared home so that is their home.
