If I had to guess, he clearly wanted to relax and enjoy his “retirement” after making many many millions. She clearly could not stand supporting him and living a quiet life without having her second turn in the spotlight. Her attitude over the last several years has been very “look at me” with the stores, TV show, E! appearances, etc.

He doesn’t even have his own IG or anything - she runs it. She’s ALL about the limelight. They have completely different priorities.
