She isn't asking for spousal support (i.e., alimony). Child support depends on who gets custody and what percentage of the time.

Look, none of us parents can throw stones at these people. How many OPs are there in Relationships about aggressive dads and control-freak moms? Plenty!
Add to that the pressures of fame and travel and work schedules, and it's a wonder anyone stays married in Hollywood! Actually I believe a majority of the still-married have non-famous spouses who can follow them and spend more time with the kids.

And for the record, Angelina's work speaks for itself. She, not Brad or Jennifer or whoever else in this story, has been UN Ambassador and promoted the rights of children everywhere. She has her demons as do we all, but I have the greatest respect for her.
