Pay the TSA!!!

TSA needs to give a $10,000 bonus to every officer across the USA. They have had to take out loans, pay late fees, and go into debt due to both shutdowns. We need congress to approve this.

All the elites need to take one for the team and forgo spring break trips. Show us some of that virtue signaling.

DHS got boat loads of funding for ICE and CBP in the OBBBA. Congress should authorize funding of TSA from a portion of that.

The elites use private jets and could care less about TSA and the struggling riff raff.

I'm pretty sure first class is booked.

I hope it works. I hate Trump but TSA/ airports do not need to be in the middle of this fight. I want a separate law passed that TSA is funded regardless of all future budget battles. Plenty of checks still go out when the government is closed and TSA needs to be included.

GOP will never go along with that. That's been the whole problem, they want to hold agencies like TSA hostage so that they can try to get completely unrelated crap like voter ID and banning trans people from sports passed.

And with that, they are unwilling to separate issues out or accept amendments that would fix the problems, like fixing the voter ID bill so that no American citizen will face undue costs, delays or other burdens, nor be unfairly disenfranchised.

That's been the game the GOP has been playing, increasingly desperately, knowing they are probably going to lose bigly in the midterms.

As though the elites flying first class don't have PreCheck/Clear/Global Entry and already skip most of the TSA rigamarole. Try again.

You know its more than just TSA working without pay?

I flew last week and this weekend. There were no security lines at all. What’s all the fuss about?

Was it DCA? They seem to be paying the folks there because it's where congress flies out of. BWI, on the other hand, had a 4 hr wait

DCA and BOS. Both flights left on time and both arrived early. It was the easiest trip I’ve had in years.

No, it's about elites getting to go on spring vacation and making sure all those economy class fliers have to go through security screening.

Completely true. DCA at 1pm and BOS at 9:15am. We flew through TSA.

It is very airport dependent. IAD and DCA have been fine. BWI was apparently a mess this weekend.
