is RKFJr's "Tylenol(TM) causes autism" just a shakedown for extortion money from the company?

"Hey, are our vaccinated children passing Hepatitis B around like the unvaccinated children around the world? No? Well, we should stop vaccinating them. Obviously they don't need it."

Absolute ninny logic.

The schedule calls for vaccinating the newborn against Hep B on the day of birth. Now that's ninny logic.

Why is it “ninny logic” when the mother can pass Hepatitis B to her newborn during the birth?

Why are you pushing for that in mothers that are Hep B negative?

It's like a religion with you. inject-inject-Inject. Screw your sacred cows.

Meanwhile, countries like Japan, German, Denmark and others have far less burdensome vaccine schedules than the U.S. vaccine schedule.

I see-you are you worried about that age old concern “too much liquid into babies.”

DP. Just because Trump is an idiot doesn’t negate what this person is saying. Many other nations do not require hep B or varicella. Vaccines are overall a good thing but literally everything in life has risks (not to say that autism is a risk but certainly people can and do have adverse reactions to these things) so the question is do the risks outweigh the benefits and why is that the case in the United States and not other places?

You know what else other countries have? massive Hepatitis B infection rates. You know what the US does not have? Massive Hepatitis B infection rates. You know why? Vaccines.

I swear you g-d MAHA idiots make me want to tear my hair out. Enjoy your liver cancer I guess.

Because when you have a fever and are pregnant, Tylenol is the thing to take.

Last month Jay Lau, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health published a systematic review of 46 prior studies using the Navigation Guide methodology, finding that many show a positive association between prenatal acetaminophen use and neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) including autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and ADHD.

Why are you trying to figure out "why" with anything regarding this administration. They are sadistic and like to create suffering and make waves just because that is how they like to spend their free time. Oh and money.

Not a shakedown OP.

Was Tylenol invented between 1980 and 2024? Did anything about how its use in pregnancy is recommended change in that interval? Provide citations.

Tylenol is not at issue.

Lying snake oil salesmen like Oz and RFK Jr are.

Understand that the Trump administration voiced it so you have to take the exact opoosite side. Whatever.

I just looked at the first one and it does not help Trump's case AT ALL. the point of the article is that while a small association was initially observed, researchers conclude that it is unlikely that maternal acetaminophen use directly causes neurodevelopmental disorders in offspring. They aregue that it is due to biases and other unmeasured factors

which one? Please cite. the Harvard study I read supports continued use of Acetaminophen, arguing that the risks of not treating the fever are greater than that of Acetaminophen itself.

+1, also not all studies are of the same quality. The Swiss study remains the highest quality, largest study to date. The one cited by Trump was lower quality.

If MAGA doesn't want to take Tylenol when pregnant, they don't have to. I guess they will ignore that the impact of a high fever on a fetus are far worse.

The tweet is from 2017, and the account hasn’t tweeted since 2021.

The manufacturer’s response:

Kenvue Inc., the parent company of Tylenol, stressed that the "eight-year-old consumer response is incomplete and did not address our full guidance on the safe use of Tylenol which has not changed."

Uno-reverse whoopsiedoodles. Always get the full story first.
