Agree. I was trying to remember when I was last there for an event - I can remember four - the Women's March - so crowded that it took 30 minutes to get out of the Metro and then it was just wall to wall people; the 60th Anniversary of the Moon landing - the Mall was pretty packed; Nats Championship Parade - busy. Parade route was stacked several people deep; Cherry Blossoms - absolute madhouse. This turnout reflects people intentionally staying away. |
This made me laugh, but I think you're right. |
Lol |
There were more people at the cherry blossoms this past Spring than there were at the parade today. LOLOL. |
Or maybe not cut VA funding |
A lot of hateful people in DC sadly but the country is big and so many of us watched the parade and appreciated the fact that we have a wonderful military. Wishing all military families well!! We appreciate your sacrifice and commitment and of course loved the parade!! |
haha. Right, Karoline. |
What kind of lie are you spinning?? |
Not many people in DC at all it seems. |
Trump and Hedgseth looked mad af in the audience. There is no way to slice or dice it. He just got humiliated on his birthday. |
In their defense, the ask was weird as shiet. Pretending you are celebrating the 250th anniversary, when that never gets celebrated in this manner, meanwhile, everyone knows it's a birthday party for your weird taco president. Seriously, this would be a challenge even for the most gifted event planner. The tank's squeaky wheels are the cherry on top of this broken-down event. I am loving every second of this epic failure. |
Good lord this crew would be complaining no matter what. Please be happy there are people willing to defend you even though you despise them. Most of the military is conservative so yes you hate them. You would also freak out if you ever had to do their job also.
Okay then! |
Nice try. This post isn’t about the Army (just like we know this parade isn’t either). This is just a badly put on show. It’s coming across like a parody at this point. |
We love our troops and service people who are willing to put their lives on the line for our republic. Sadly, they were being used as props to boost the ego of our mad king. People are repudiating Trump, not our troops, but we have no history of military parades like this, and for good reason. |
