There was a desert storm parade. I don’t remember much about it because I was too young, but I’ve seen family photos from the event. My family won’t be attending the flag day parade, though!

Yes, there was. And it was a fun parade. But the circumstances were entirely different. That was probably the apex of the US being seen as the good guy world cop.
