Absolutely not. Nor does everyone do this. |
You’re annoying. |
I have a family member in poor health so I can’t use do not disturb. It’s rude to text before 7 or after 9. Unless you know it’s ok to text early/late, use the same courtesy that you’d use for calling someone on a landline. |
Okay drama queen |
You can create 100% custom settings. It’s not equivalent at ALL to a land kine - totally different technology. Or have someone call you on your home phone line in case of a true emergency. |
For real. Utter ineptitude! |
Do you all know how to use your iPhones?
To those of you saying you need to keep your phone on in case someone important to you calls- add them to your favorites. If they are in your favorites then they will not be silenced but all other calls/texts not in your favorites will be. You can use the sleep function to set it for time to go to ‘sleep’ and a time to ‘wake up’ automatically. You can pick different times for different days. Lastly, if you don’t want to add a person to your favorites they can still bypass the silence function by calling 3 times in a row. If it’s important they’ll keep calling. And people don’t text if it’s a true emergency. PS. It will show up to the person texting you that your phone is silenced. No need to worry that anyone is expecting you to see and respond to the text. Now welcome to 2024. Please adjust your phone settings. |
Manners are still relevant in 2024. You should introduce yourself to some. |
+2. I’d say no texts before 9am. |
No, not everyone does. Stop justifying your lack of manners by attributing it to "everyone" baselessly. |
Nope. Turn your phone off if you don’t want to be disturbed. |
Don’t disturb people at inappropriate times. |
Are you also the person who insists on speaking on speaker phones in public spaces and insists that if we are disturbed WE should use headphones? Because you're ridiculous. |
Hey genius, did you know that not everyone uses iPhones? |
You have said this over and over and over. Seriously. Get a life. |
