Has anyone here had a child on lowest (white) team in younger age group? How is the coaching? Do the kids learn and develop some skills? Is it good starting point for a kid who is interested in playing travel soccer and wants to improve, or not worth it unless can make second team?

My child is on an HYS second team and about half the team started originally on the white team.

Coach Abdi is great and develops his players. Would not hesitate to sign up for that team.
