I agree with your husband. I mean, everything taylor swift says and does is contrived to the nth degree, partly because that is her personality, and partly because there is so much wealth and future wealth at stake. Pretty sad actually.

DP. I don’t get this argument. Is it just because she’s a woman? Like plenty of men like Elon and Jeff Bezos hit her net worth at one point and continued to make moves to make more money and no one said “well they have more than enough money.” Staying relevant and in the news is part of her brand and ultimately part of what makes her money. Her love life has always been a tool for her monetize and create interest in whatever she is doing since the very beginning of her career. She obviously still working and not retired so why wouldn’t she continue to do all of the things that have helped her dominate the entertainment industry for so long?

NFL is the biggest thing on TV by a mile. But it wants target women demo tuning in and letting their boys play youth football. White families increasingly have their boys playing other sports. Plus she has a movie coming out. Plus all of the Fortune 500 advertisers involved. This entire production is fake and all about $$$$$$$. Taylor and her dad are money-grabbers.

There was a clip on tv where Travis + his brother were talking about TS in a sweet/aspirational/hopeful way. OP, I am not a huge football fan, but I did grow up in OH and went to UCincy like the Kelce bros. Your use of the word " brute" seems excessive.

This thread is such an illustration of how everyone just brings their own take to everything and on DCUM, those takes are wildly all over the place. PP above is talking about "sweet/hopeful" nice guys. Another PP not far above is discussing how hung the football player might be. Yet others are analyzing NFL audience demographics. I knew nothing about them until I Googled. As a fellow alum, I was proud to read they are University of Cincinnati Bearcats. UC is always overshadowed (and rightfully so) by the powerhouse football at OSU (Ohio State U). It was nice to see the underdog getting some attention. UC football and the school itself certainly benefit from the positive attention the Kelce bros are shining on the "Queen City", Cincinnati and to Cleveland where they are from.
