I have started to wonder what 40 year old T. Swift looks like. I think she's going to stay single and childfree. I don't think we've ever had a woman who was this famous/prominent and watched her age into her 40s without a marriage framework to define her by (like Jennifer Aniston never married or had kids but those topics were absolutely defining for her public persona). Taylor could actually break the stigma, I think. Though it could also backfire because I personally would not want a 5'11" mega-successful millionaire to be the standard by which people evaluate my lifestyle.

Stevie Nicks is unmarried and childless. Bonnie Raitt, Dolly Parton, also childless but I believe were or are married. There's nothing new about childless singers. Successful people probably don't regret it as much as a regular childless person might.

If she wants to get married and have kids, has to be super careful about who she does both with. Connected for life, very expensively. Look at the payouts Britney Spears and Madonna were required to give their exes with whom they had kids. Plus the problem with her dating other mega stars is that neither of them would be around for each other let alone children.


Even with a prenup she is probably earning so much every year that she would be massively exposed in a divorce. And what high profile relationships actually last?
