GOP remains unimpacted because their kid are unharmed. One day they will harm the loved one of someone who will have nothing left to lose and then God save these morons!

But please protect my kids from books and drag shows

We don't ban cars when drunk drivers kill people while driving. We need more mental health institutions in the USA.

They were originally marketed for hunting before military adoption/modification.

Id argue they're great for personal protection if you happen to be carrying one around as rifles are better than pistols unless you are concealing it.

Its like climate change. At first the rich were polluting the Earth with impunity and now the hill they built their homes on is collapsing. Right now NRA and GOP are all for gun rights. When their loved ones get gunned down then they will have no place to run to. It is just a matter of time.

We regulate the heck out of cars. And alcohol.

So please, yes, let's treat guns the way we treat guns and alcohol.

Yes, mental health institutions need to be built to put all the GOP and NRA leaders and their families in it. I will take that over having any kind of gun control.

Universal health care is the solution?

A 28 year old WOMAN?

You won't hear a word about this pretty soon....

Yeah, we absolutely will, and we should. But they are saying she was a former students of the school, and identifies as transgender. She definitely doesn't fit the profile of a school shooter.

7 deaths now - 3 students, 2 adults and the shooter.

Are cars designed with the intent and purpose to mail and kill others? Or do cars have another purpose, and for which we're continually refining to make safer? And we're required to register, have insurance, and a license to operate?

Kind of a significance difference, no?

But if you're suggesting we have legal access to guns, but mandate licensing, training, registration, and insurance to own... I could be swayed to keep them.
