Lol okay. Goalies can commit penalties. Specially when they are head hunting. Livakovic charged Alvarez, made contact(without the ball) and takes Alvarez out. Livakovic was not standing still. He clearly intended on clearing out Alvarez and he did. Livakovic should have got a red card. If Livakovic had played the ball instead of taking Alvarez out he might have had a chance at stopping the goal. |

| Explain to me the penalty kick. I've seen a bunch of penalty kicks during the World Cup in which the kicker waits for the goalie to commit to one side or another, then makes an easy goal. Why don't all kickers do a stutter step as they approach the ball and wait for the goalie to commit? |
