+1 my thought too. Must be from a very low performing area. |
So pretty! Congrats! |
I am the PP- she was NMSF in DC, so you are correct- not Maryland. However she couldn't reproduce anything similar when she later took the actual SAT. It happens, but I guess you could not decouple PSAT (NMSF) and the SAT. NMSF is sometimes luck and the PSAT is easier than the SAT anyway. |
Congratulations! My daughter really wanted to go to LSU. She ended up elsewhere for various reasons and is happy where she is, but LSU still holds a place in our hearts. |
Kudos to your DD. The cut score is always the highest or equal in DC within the DMV and last year it was higher than both MD and VA. |
| My DS just got accepted to York College of Pennsylvania with a $7500 per year merit scholarship. |
Congratulations to the awesome! I went there many years ago and it lead to great things. I am so glad I went there.

Don't be a dick to make yourself feel better. Not a good look. |

??? The cut score is based to get a certain percentage of students. So in some areas that cut score is higher in some areas it’s lower. Not sure what your problem is. |
Congrats! Love that campus! |
PP said her DD is in DC. DC has the highest cutoff for NMSF -- 223 this year. It's odd that her DD would get a 223 or higher on PSAT (an extremely high score), but a 1340 on SAT. That's what people are pointing out. But I guess that's what happened here... |
Gorgeous campus. Congrats! |
Congrats! |
| My son went to his dream school after getting deferred in ED. And for those waitlisted at Clemson and similar he also got in there in RD. It all somehow works out. |
