Republicans are why we cannot have nice things

Meanwhile the environmental czar Kerry is flying around in his wife's Gulfstream burning tons of carbon. Hypocrisy only applies to MAGA supporters with their leaf blower.

Yes, surely taking 36 hours to drive across the country in a Prius every time he needs to be somewhere would be the solution!

Obviously the few tons of carbon a jet trip produces negates the millions of tons saved by the initiatives Kerry is spearheading.

Talk about penny wise and pound foolish.

Zoom calls work

Yeah, but you can brag about where you’ve been on a Zoom call

Eh, if people hadn't bought giant trucks and SUVs when they aren't farmers or contractors, they wouldn't be in is much pain at the pump. Also if they hadn't voted for someone (Trump) who emphasized Russian oil for the US during his 4 years

My 20 year old Honda still gets good gas mileage. While.prices have gone up, it's not a huge problem.

You’re ok some good drugs…

Trump was for domestic oil, imports from Russia shut up with Biden.

Now we have massive inflation and a war…

He did that Good job Brandon

Jen Psaki mentioned yesterday that there are literally thousands of oil leases that aren’t being used by big oil.

We are the victims of industry, not Biden’s policies.

We love Biden. Can't imagine the terrible shape the US would be in if the Orange Turd was still in office.

Wrong again. The regulations (i.e. additional costs) placed on drilling by Biden makes even oil at 115/barrel untenable for these companies. Jen also mentioned that only 60% of the sites are in use, which is the norm for this industry. Quit blaming the industry when we all know the current administration said the quiet part out loud - "long term we want greener energy".

Yes. We’d have mean tweets, no war in Ukraine, $2-something gasoline, and no 25 page threads discussing Russian nuclear attack survival.

It would terrible for sure.

Drove to Roanoke Virginia and back yesterday for family emergency. Passed the same gas stations on the way down, then on the way back about 8 hours later.

Prices had gone up 25-35 cents in 8 eight hours.

BS. $115 a barrel oil is easy to make a huge profit on. Even with extra regulations.

And yes the long term goal of humanity is clean renewable energy. How is that in the least bit controversial?

Growing up in Pittsburgh in the 60's and 70's we've come a long way and agree with the long term solution, but not at a significant cost to the consumer. Glad a federal judge blocked these onerous regulations.

Do any of the folks in the Right think that energy companies bear any responsibility for the high cost of gas to consumers? After all, they’re making record profits.

The US imports very little oil from Russia. Tell me you have zero understanding of the world oil markets without telling me directly that you don't understand world oil markets.

Psaki is an orange haired moron.

You idiots celarly don't understand how oil works. You can't just start drilling and producing more like it is an off/on switch. Biden's policies have made oil unprofitable until oil reaches around $120/barrel. Even at $120 you won't immediately start drilling again because of the price falls then you will lose money. You need more buffer room for it to make sense.
