People mean that if things worked as they should, Thomas would face impeachment and might resign first to avoid it.

But things do NOT work as they should right now. And to fix that, we need to work on how disinformation spreads as well as the existing and growing distrust in authority and institutions, on both sides.

It’s not a both sides think. Republicans stormed the Capitol to kill the speaker of the house, the Vice President, overturn an election and install trump as dear leader. Now the normal people wonder why no action is taken against people like Ginni Thomas and you think it’s both side?

Maybe read the thread? Thomas did not disclose hundreds of thousands of dollars of his wife’s income from right wing groups with an interest in multiple cases, and he ruled on a case involving the release of his own wife’s communications instead of recusing himself. He does know how to recuse since he did it on a case involving VMI while his son was a student there. Why not this time?

I’m the one who asked “what’s the point of posting that” and I agree. If the GOP was a functioning party - because the government would function just fine without those greasy hobos - he should be impeached. And Ginni should face prison.
