You've heard the things Harry and Meghan have said about the royal family, right? I wouldn't be defending anyone who said this things about ME. Goes both ways.

Anyway, why do people care so much? This whole thread is out of control.

No...share some quotes from them.

Yep I am waiting!

Harry and Meghan planned to leave from the beginning. All of their "hit the ground running" talk was just ... misdirection.

Any evidence for that? Or are you just a hardcore racist?

It's what Harry's buddy said.

Nope, sorry, you’re going to have to go get quotes.

What? In what way has the media went off on Harry that he did not invite?

It's not like the family hasn't protected him on numerous occasions previously - when he dropped his pants, when he donned a Nazi uniform, when he drunk himself to oblivion....it's a bit much to see a nearly 40-year old whining.

Wrong brother. William 'My human rights are are being violated' Windsor is the one that's nearly 40.

Right. Harry is 29...

Has he no loyalty to blood and country? I mean who is he really getting back at and at what cost and to what ends?

You mean loyalty to the blood and country that called his 3-day old son a monkey and harassed his wife from the moment it became clear they were dating?

No. His loyalty as he stated is to his wife, his firstborn son, and his child to be. And to the grandma and grandpa that he loves who sent a waffle maker for Christmas.

The country didn't call his son a monkey. It was a single reporter who was immediately fired.

Anyone Harry dated was going to get harassed.

Somehow this family is good enough for Harry to live off.

Imagine being mixed race or Black, meeting your fiancé’s extended family for the first time, and being welcomed by this:

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/dec/22/princess-michael-apologises-wearing-racist-jewellery-meghan-markle-christmas-lunch

If you think the issue of racism is limited to “ a single reporter”, check out The Daily Mail, the comments people wrote, and the nastiness spewed by Piers Morgan. And that’s just a few sources. Ask yourself if you’ve ever heard anything that the Queen, any other member of the family besides Harry, or the Palace staff said or did to directly address the racism. If you have, I’d truly like to see it.

My aunt is nuts. As is DH's uncle. So?

Harry and Meghan planned to leave from the beginning. All of their "hit the ground running" talk was just ... misdirection.

Does their nuttiness include a sense of hostility and superiority toward you that historically included violence and subjugation? Do you live with or in close proximity to this aunt and uncle? Are you all part of a family business where they call all the shots? Can they dictate some of the choices you make in your personal and family life?

So....you know all this, and yet you get married, and say this is the happiest day of my life, and I'm committed to serving this country, and this is the family I've never had. Hmmm. If MM is half as smart as you think she is, none of this would have been a surprise to her.

DP. I haven't heard anything M&H said that warrants "racist brooch" level treatment in return. Idk what someone could possibly ever say that would warrant that kind of treatment, but certainly H&M haven't said anything approaching it. I can't believe PP seems to think the brooch is fine, but that's in line with the behavior of the other racist MM haters.

Sure, that brooch was horrible. But you really think it's reasonable for a racist aunt to cause a couple to publicly split from the family and move to another continent? The aunt is a sideshow.

I mean if the brooch was that bad, MM could have broken off the engagement.

And that racist island would have loved that. Sorry you're just going to have to deal with the fact that the 6th in line is married to a black woman and the 7th + 8th in line are the children of one.

I hope you realize just how irrelevant any numbers beyond the first are.

Meghan knew all about the BRF before she married Harry, and she still went ahead.

Yes likely she and Harry discussed it all ahead of time. Also, Harry has said he drove this decision. Meghan may very well have been ok subjecting herself to it, but Harry decided not to ask her to. Why is that such a crazy concept to you?

Did you break off your engagement because of a hostile in-law, doubtful. Heck, half the people who say that Meghan should not have married Harry if she did not want to put up with her in-laws refuse to have contact with their own in-laws for far less offenses. You people are hypocrites and Ridiculous.

If Meghan actually loves Harry why should she have to give that up because his family is racist? Pretty sure there wouldn’t have been any interracial couples before 1980 of that were the rule.

Maybe that poster has never had anyone willing to fight like that on her behalf. Or, someone willing to sacrifice even the smallest thing on her behalf. It is hard for some people to comprehend love when they have never truly experienced someone willing to sacrifice for them.

She lied to the public, both the British and American public. Maybe you think that's romantic. Maybe it is.

But why should the American public continue to be fascinated by her? She's not our American in the British Royal Family anymore. She's a chattier

Every public statement she made while they were engaged and early in their marriage.

Oh well.

Dp Actually she is 1/2 white and we aren't living in slavery times when one was considered Black if they had "the one drop rule" so she isn't automatically considered to be a Black women. As for the kids they are more white than black, when you add Harry's side. Not denying the Black side but, you can't ignore Thomas Markle and the Royal family ( White) ancestry.
