Not true. |
No, you don't "got it." At all. |
This is why it’s so important for the Dems to hold onto the Senate so that Biden can continue to get his judges confirmed. It’s all about the judges. Vote blue no matter who. |
No. The judge said everything must stop. The ruling said even things not in dispute in terms of EP and ACP must be reviewed and nothing can be done with anything. She stop the investigation. DOJ and ODNI are the executive branch and as such the rule applies to all EB. Biden has to step in and issue a formal statement saying he does not extend EP to trump with these documents. Biden has already issues a form statement saying he has delegated the national archives to look into this issue and the NA has said there is no EP. The corrupt judge said Biden has not said anything about EP. The DOJ is the executive branch and therefore EP does not apply because they are the same. It is the stupid ruling ever. It’s like she does not understand the how the law works. This will open appeals on any cases she has presided over. |
The decision says the national security risk investigation will continue. I don’t recall the precise wording, but what she enjoined is the criminal investigation of Trump related to what was seized. |
|
How on earth does the DOJ keep assessing security damage and it not implicate TFG?
I just don’t understand. How does the DOJ change how they are handling the case? |
No not with the documents recovered from August. The judge said these can not be used. The other investigation from documents given back earlier in the year can continue. For some reason she feels she has say over that investigation also. |
It's more like having your house robbed and having a judge appoint an independent person to look for evidence that your stuff is actually, really yours because the burglar says its his because he used to live in your house until he got evicted. |
And the investigation must stop because the reputation of the guy who robbed you might be damaged. Also the judge who is in debt to the criminal will appoint an “independent” person who is also in debt to the guy who robbed your house. I am waiting for the judge to start talking about admiralty jurisdiction. |
And that's the heart of why these ruling is so stupid. She's stopping the executive branch from engaging in one function - criminal investigation - while allowing it to engage in another - protecting national security. Isn't the biggest problem that this is a separation of powers issue? A judge has ordered a criminal investigation to stop. How many defense attorneys are now going to go to court to get a similar injunction? |

Right and muddying the legal waters like this will gum up the works. She’s basically obstructing. |
Agreed. Judge has completely overstepped. |
