Two were at trumps rally in Pa. They warmed up the crowd. |
Ok, thanks for confirming you have no idea what you are talking about here. She clerked for a well regarded appeals court judge, worked at a top tier firm and then also worked as an assistant us attorney. Those are considered very strong credentials in the legal world, especially for someone being appointed as a judge. |
She’s a right wing hack and that’s what you celebrate her for. |
|
Can someone break this down for me?
I don’t understand what this means for the investigation. Non existent EP aside. How does this play out? - music major |
She was also rated as "unqualified" by the ABA and has just produced a brief that has little basis in facts or reality, that is being panned by serious jurists on both the left and right. |
|
It is nice to know that a defendent can ask the government to halt an investigation and a judge will agree.
I guess poor people of color can make the same ask, right? |
Are you actually this ignorant about the case, or do you think you are making some clever point? |
No, people are upset that Trump is being given special treatment, with a court actually ordering a significant arm of a criminal investigation frozen because Trump wants the government to return evidence against him. How many other subjects of criminal investigations get to file a shitty brief and then have the court say, "No, sorry government, you can't move forward with your investigation because it might make this person look bad if they're indicted"? |
It delays everything. |
Nah. Apparently possible drug charges are more serious than possible espionage charges. |
| So the opinion is so bad, it makes you wonder if that’s the point. She just wanted it off her desk. |
No, absolutely no one is saying that. |
No, the ODNI is still able to proceed with the damage assessment, which includes getting fingerprints on the evidence and tracking it. |
Nobody actually cares what the ABA thinks about anything. |
Delay is the point. |
