DH always asks me to pick him up at the metro if I can. Otherwise it takes him 30 min. on bus. (35-40 min. total commute). Usually I pick him up at his work on my commute home, but some days I work from home, so can't. I HATE picking him up. It takes me 45 min. with the kid in the car. But I like to show him that I love him, and am willing to do stuff for him. Please advise. |
OMG yes!!! I could never do that to my DH. leave now and go get him. |
Not if it takes you just as long or longer than it would take him to ride the bus! |
Pick him up. Stop to send him into pick up dinner on the way home.
|
Anyone else? (LOL, ok, I know I'm a bit selfish here...I guess I needed confirmation). |
weird that you feel the need to bring ths decision to DCUM, but whatevs. I personally enjoy the alone time the bus allows me. |
Why do you have to drive so far? |
OP - he would do that for you which means he loves and respects you. for lordy's sake, go get your DH. Ask him for a foot rub later ![]() |
Yes. But I also enjoy driving and DS loves being in the car. Plus, I love getting out of the house and like PP said, sometimes I send DH in to pick up something for dinner. I'm actually picking him up today! |
How does it take the bus 30 min but you 45? Every bus I've been on is about twice as long as driving. |
Damn you people. Dinner's already planned (just need to reheat) ![]() It's not far at all, maybe 2.5 miles, just through the city, takes a looooonnng time at this hour. |
dude needs to walk, or get a bike |
Wow. Is that enen a question?
I pick DH up every single day! |
2.5 miles? Your DH should walk (but going to get him is a nice gesture). |
well, he should sensually massage your leg while you're driving - just to show his appreciation in a somewhat PG manner - the NC-17 version (bulge in his pants) is best saved for after DC goes to bed.
it's what I would do it my exW had ever picked me up from the metro or the airport |
