Updated PK-3 & PK-4 age cut-off dates for charter schools

Anonymous
I'm looking for any remainging PK-3 or PK-4 programs that have a December 31 age cut-off (as opposed to the more standard September 30 cut-off). I've done several searches and pulled up some threads listing lots of charter schools with the later cut-off date, but the vast majority of those schools have switched to the September 30 cut-off date. This information is no longer available on the charter school board website (prior threads linked to the website that posted the cut-off dates -- that link no longer works). I called the charter school board, and they emailed me a chart with information they said may or may not be up-to-date. The only schools on that chart showing a December 31 cut-off are:

Eagle Academy
Howard Road Academy
Ideal Academy
Roots
Septima Clark
Tree of Life

I have not called these schools to confirm this information because they are either inconveniently located (across the city) or do not have good "reviews" here and elsewhere.

Does anyone know of any other options??

As far as I know, they're all aligned now with the earlier cut-off.

Shining Stars Montessori is still Dec 31, I believe

OP here. Thank you! I just called and you are correct, despite the fact that the charter school board's chart lists September 30. Why can't the dang charter school board give accurate, consolidated information? I presume this is just the beginning of the research, application, lottery, waitlist shit-show . . . .

The Charter School Board website sucks - Focus DC has more information (and has the Charter School Expo!)

Eagle is still December.

This website is missing a few schools as well, BTW. If anyone wants to do a comprehensive search, you'll have to use this site and the charter board site.

Has CM serving grades 5,6,7,8, outdated info for IT, MV etc (at least 2 years old) and incorrect addresses. Not the best site to use at all.

Imagine Hope Lamond campus has a Dec 31st cut-off date and a pretty solid PS3/PK4 program (have not heard great things for K and above but earlier years look strong). We enrolled our 2.5 yr old there in the PS3 class and she is really enjoying it, the teachers are warm and loving. There's not much diversity at all but we're happy she's getting a school environment and enjoys going. I'm guessing they still have slots open. Call Ms. Riley if you are interested.

BTW, the school is right near Cap City and Sela.

Sela will take December students on a case by case basis for pre-K 4. Sela is not even on the PCSB website. The Charter Board oughta be ashamed. www.selapcs.org.

They have a really strong PreS and PreK program. My child learned a lot while having fun. Despite my leaving the school before K, I have always recommended the early childhood program at Hope Lamond. I left because it just wasn't a long term school for my family.
