We'll be back, stronger than ever. The disastrous Trump/MAGA era will end in less than 3 years. M9re and more eople are waking up to the corruption in our political system every day. Once we've reduced the influence of money in politics, our two major political parties will begin to function at an adequate level again. Let's do this!

I am the PP and agree, at some point this will end. But gaining the trust of our allies, restablishing trade deals and supply chains etc, when other countries have moved on, it will take a long time to recover. Trump pulling out of the TPP cost us something like a trillion dollars in economic growth for the US. those are monies never recovered and the opportunity costs, never gained, just as one example.

Numbers just in and it is horrible. Nonfarm payroll is negative 92k and not the expected positive 50k. Unemployment ticked up a point.

Looks like there will be an extension of stock losses today. Yes, I know it's early and the market has not opened but the S&P is going to open up at its lowest in four months.

I’m actually surprised it isn’t higher. Everyone I know is getting laid off.

Being off by 150k is pretty bad.

Yes, every single time. And yet voters keep falling for it.

From the BLS report:
The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks or more) changed little at 1.9
million in February but is up from 1.5 million a year earlier. The long-term unemployed
accounted for 25.3 percent of all unemployed people in February.

Large data collection and analysis is bound to have issues. But in reality Trump sucks for jobs, the economy, and the future. Sure you can keep coming up with excuses and blaming others but most of us see what’s going on. Join reality and leave your cult!

Trump has promised money to rebuild Iran once he fully topples their government and install the person he wants to run the country.

What about being off by 150k is not grounded in reality?

It would be truly lovely if all these people laid off workers were Trump and Stein voters, but alas, I imagine there are a lot of Harris voters suffering from the stupidity of Trump/Stein voters.

They also revised both January and December down. December is now a 17k loss. The big January gain that was initially reported is also down.
