Where's that Bondi gif screaming the DOW is 50,000 dollars and you want to talk about Epstein (paraphrasing), but you know the gif.

Well the Dow is now at 27,330, and somebody should tell her it is not dollars.

Huh? You mean 47,330.

Either way, below 50k. Where is the PP from earlier on this thread who was bragging about their stock portfolio?

You do realize that stock portfolios don’t mirror the Dow generally and can perform better than the DJI?

Yes, but Bondi used the Dow as an excuse to not discuss the Epstein files. And btw, the Nasdaq, Russell, and S&P are also all lower for the week.

If we put boots on the ground it is likely that the Iranians will blow up their oil wells just like what happened when Kuwait/America went into Iraq during the Gulf War. It took a long time to get that infrastructure back up and running.

Maybe this is how we get to more solar and wind.

From what I'm reading, $3.70/g national average is already baked in based on wholesale prices.

I wonder if these workers are shrewd enough to connect the dots that many of the jobs were the result of Biden renewables infrastructure and their job loss is the result of trump squashing the incentives. And if so, will these trump voters twist their mind into a deformed pretzel to vote for trump again?

That area voted for Trump by something like 77-23 - it’s MTG’s district. So yes, deformed pretzel it is.

Democrats are not rewarded for helping rural voters economically. Probably time to stop trying.

It always eeks back somewhat as the day goes on, but futures market is showing that the stock market will tank further tomorrow. Oil has topped $100 a barrel.

We are in uncharted waters. Nothing like this has ever happened before and for good reason. Unless Trump is removed from office and things can be settled down in short order, we are on a catastrophic economy, military and cultural path.

I guess the evangelicals dreams are coming true.
