| I'm not that impressed by Wegman's. But I'm from New England, so "what do I know"....hahaha.... |
| I'm horrified about Walmart. But I'm from New England, and I know a blackguard when I see one. Walmart sucks. Boycott. |
| Wow. First Honey Boo Boo and now Walmart. Tyson's is definitely the place to be! |

Here is the developer info for that area

I'm not impressed by Wegman's either and am also a New Englander. We rock
|
| Wegmans will be a great addition. |
|
Will have to see what the wegmans fuss is about
Will never go to Walmart. |
Until they build the coscto I will go to walmart to get things like detergent , soap, paper towels etc... |
| Great additions, beautifully in line with the transit- and pedestrian-friendly nature of the area. |
Yeah Wegmans and Walmart are just what I think of when I think pedestrian friendly! LOL...they're more like a sign that says welcome to the exurbs. |
| Thrilled to be able to go to Nordstrom and Walmart in one trip -- what are thy thinking? |
| Woohoo! Will shop in Walmart now instead of Tyson's corner |
I grew up in upstate NY with a wegmans right down the road. Been missing it ever since I left and once a month I justify driving the 40 min to the Woodmore store. Haha! For me, there's nothing else around here that beats it as an all-around grocery store (I shop at Trader joes a lot, but can't get everything there). You Tyson's folks are lucky and I wish they'd open one in Silver Spring! I'd steer clear the first month or so until the hoopla dies down though. |
You're an idiot. These stores will be smaller and more like the types of mixed grocers/convenience stores you find in parts of London near Underground stations. |
