Short hair trend?

In the last two weeks, I've seen several women around town with the cutest short haircuts; is this a trend (think pixie cuts)? I hope so; it's so much more chic than the usual DC bangs and bob.

I'd love to have short hair but I'm afraid to take that leap. Please post photo's of attractive and EASY to maintain short haircuts.

I had short hair once. It took me 5 yrs to grown out. One of those years I never took my hair out of a ponytail. I have no interest in going through that again.

I was just thinking about this the other day, wondering when/if short hair would come back around. When I was in high school (early 80s), almost every girl had shoulder-length or shorter hair, and many (including me) had very short hair.

I do locks of love so I have had short cuts andi love them.

I do have to say that most men don't like it, it is obvious. When my hair is long all of a sudden men are holding the door and checking me out... Which to me was a total turn off, BTW.

I like my hair long enough for a ponytail in these summer months but will go short again in e Fall.

Another thing you have to bring a picture. When I was in my 30's I would get the cutest cuts but now I am 40 and hair dressers tend to go conservative. I have a boring mommy cut right now because I forgot my picture.

I have stylish short hair and I don't really notice men treating me any differently. If it keeps jerks away from me that is yet another plus.

The only downside is that you have to get it cut much more frequently.

I really hate overly sculpted short hair that often involves sideburns. Just think it looks so bad and so 80sish. Not sure why women do that to themselves.

Short hair on women is unfeminine and unattractive. If you are trying to attract women then I am not talking to you.

Also, it's important to have a good body and always look put together. No walking around in a t shirt and yoga pants all day.

My husband says the same thing, yet I had short hair when we met. Lol!
