I love having short hair. Mine is not a pixi but still short. But long hair looks horrible on me. Husband doesn't seem to mind

Same here. I did a short cut once but wasn't great at styling it and it didn't look great just left alone. Now DH really hates when I say Im getting a haircut for fear that I'll try to go back to the short cut. |
Good bone structure is key. My husband thinks I look great with short hair, but I don't feel like I can pull it off b/c my face is too long. |
| Post some photos of great short cuts that are current. I would love some options. |
I have an inverted bob like this - http://ifashionstyles.info/inverted-bob-hairstyles-2013.html But not sure if folks mean more short than that. |
| That hair does not really look "short". Not like Robin Wright Penn anyway or what i thought people were talking about on this post. Is that what we are talking about? Any other examples? |
High maintenance! |
| I love the inverted bob! I have had it before, you do need regular trims, but my hair is thick and pretty straight, so not too much maintenance. Any short cut requires regular trims or it will look bad. |
Are you one of those moms who have long stringy hair? Ugh. |
| Am I the only person to whom an inverted bob says "evangelical Christian mom with a mean streak"? No? Yes? |
It really isn't high maintenance. I just blow dry and use a round brush each day. My stylist (who is moving ) cut the back really well so it falls nicely into place. I just roundbrush at the crown. Otherwise super easy, I can get it done in under 7 minutes with a toddler at my ankles

| I had a short haircut for many years and it did look cute on me. Many people said that my hair looked like Princess Di. Problem was it is expensive to keep it up, and if you don't, it stops looking good. My hair is long now, |
hmmm...when I think sexy woman, jamie lee curtis does not come to mind...sorry but true. VERY few women can pull this look off. I don't think most women should have hair shorter than chin length. |

OR OR OR I prefer the two in the middle...neither extreme appeals to me. |
