It looks as though that is the plan. The attack was coordinated and the organizers need to bear most of the punishment.

I think that the organizers need to bear the most severest possible punishments. No way in hell should seditionists be allowed to skate or get by with only the barest possible jail time.

That should include Proud Boys leaders (several chapter leaders in that photo) along with Ali Alexander and the members of Congress he was talking to.

I think it was up thread that someone linked to Dr. Jack Brown’s body language breakdown about the suspect and his conclusion was that it’s a woman, someone who is familiar with the RNC and the Capitol Hill Club, comfortable enough that they didn’t have to do an orienting loop as they needed to do around DNC headquarters.

That’s an atypical female body shape. Very tubular, kind of stocky, like a former gymnast gone to seed. I would be surprised if it were MTG - even for her, carrying literal bombs seems a step far - but the times that the bomber looks straight at the cameras as if taunting the would-be viewer seems very much like her (those videos are on that longer thread; they’re not in this loop).

I absolutely agree. The GOP is very far down the path laid out by the Nazis, down a similar path to the one trod by their ancestors as they seceded to try and keep humans enslaved. There needs to be real, severe punishment for the highest people involved.

Same thing happened with the drug and AIDS crisis. It only became a problem when white people started to become impacted by the crisis.
